Wm. Rogers Stationers, Memphis Tenn. Unused. * [with] A Similar, Northern

printers’ response, or version dubbed the “Pirate Flag” inside the stars.

The sec-

ond cover bears two 3-cent brown Washington stamps, “Harpers’ Ferry, April 17, 1862”

cancel on the left corner of the stamp; some mounting remnants on reverse. Bearing a long

pencil note on the reverse from the noted collector, Gordon Bleuler.
