Album containing 210 accomplished photographs of shipbuilding in Shanghai, and a holiday voyage,

with many colorful photographs depicting the S.S.Mei Ton, in addition to docks, harbors, dry harbors,

river scenes, construction views, flag-draped vessels, launches, and christenings, including dramatic

views of the foredeck of “a lighter going through a rapid,” and picturesque prints of theWushon and

Kwei Fu Gorges, views around Wanhsien, along the Grand Canal and its locks, and interiors of an

photographer?) and Nell describe details of their travels, including a colorful trip on theYangtze River, an incident in

which they were shot at in Shanghai, plus “a report of participation on theThibet Road.” 1917-25.
