author. A. B. C. Merriman-Labor was an
Anglo-African native of Sierra Leone and the
author of several books; one of them a very
funny lampoon titled “Britons through Negro
Spectacles,” the other, more serious, “Racial
Discrimination in Edwardian Britain.” All of
Merriman-Labor’s books are scarce.
