marble sculpture depicting an amorous couple

and a bronze military figure with many weapons;

the first in its original seals. 1850s

(UNION/THERMOPLASTIC CASES)

Group of 4 Union cases containing images,

comprising a double sixth-plate of “The Faithful

Hound” (with a daguerreotype post-mortem of

an infant and an ambrotype of brides); 2 half-

plates of “American Country Life - Summer’s

Evening” (one with a beautiful ambrotype of

identically-dressed sisters and the second with a

daguerreotype of a very large family group); and

a sixth-plate of “Grapes” containing a medal

issued by the American Institute, NewYork that

was awarded to “George R. Hendrickson, For

beautiful specimens of Refined Salt Petre. 1857.”
