in a bonnet and plaid dress; a quarter-plate of
three well-dressed siblings; 10 sixth-plate
portraits, including an unusual proto-modernist
image of a man posing without a shirt and
another of gentleman whose decorative vest is
detailed with artful engraving-like scratching;
and a ninth-plate close-up of a woman’s face;
one is gold-toned; all are in leather cases. Late
