magazine), and published in NewYork City.The set, which is complete, consists of 12 sheets, each

Group of 30 American ID badges, including 11 of

women and 19 of men, and from a variety of

manufacturing and institutional locations, such as

the Federal Works Agency, the Campbell Soup

Company, Crucible Steel in Pittsburgh, the U.S.

Navy Fleet Supply Base, American Bridge

Company, Sun Oil Company Refinery, and a

prison.The images include women in bandanas,

men grinning, in specs, hats, an incarcerated man

with a thin mustache, and one smoldering fellow.

Most are circular, but one is a hexagon, and 3 are

rectilinear, measuring about 2 inches (5.1 cm.) in

diameter,or slightly smaller;two with buckle straps,

but most are pinbacks with metal frames and plastic

coverings over the photographs. 1940s-50s
