but the gatherings suggest that it is com-
plete and stitched as issued. The inside
cover is marked “Rec’d 15 August 1794”
in a contemporary hand.

Roads,” 8 May 1794, signed in type by
George Washington (this was also issued
as an 11-page folio printing, Evans
