Small album with 35 snapshots of a television screen as Apollo 11 made its historic moon landing.
A sequence of images documenting the televised spacecraft in flight, the landing, the desolate lunar
surface and space beyond, and astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Some shots with the
screen caption detailing the countdown to the landing, one with the caption “Lunar Module Has
Landed on Moon” and another that says “Live From the Surface of the Moon.”The pair of astronauts
are shown stepping on the moon’s surface (The Sea of Tranquility), and next to the planted American
flag; later images show President Richard Nixon in conversation with the astronauts. Silver prints,
each 3 inches (7.6 cm.) square. 16mo, oblong vivid blue plastic album with plastic spiral binding;
