Eggleston designed a series of posters for the Pennsylvania Railroad all featuring beautiful, elegant
women. At least three of them promote travel to Atlantic City. The others advertise the New Jersey
seaside city as America’s “All Year Resort.” Here, the busy beach, bustling boardwalk and grand
architecture of the hotels are all on display, albeit eclipsed by a striking bathing beauty.
