We don’t know where the Apolo was located (other than in Spain), and there is no listed information
on either the artist nor the performer. Yet, this image, which evokes the look and feel of posters
emerging from Weimar Germany during the same period, is a paroxysm of 1920s music hall decadence
and excess.
