Wolner and de Barros are two of the founding
fathers of modern Brazilian graphic design,
industrial design and abstract art. This poster
won a competition to advertise Sao Paulo’s 4th
centenary. Minimalist yet bold, simple but
provacative, it is considered a seminal image of
modern poster design in Brazil.
