series of work incentive / motivational posters

published in London in the 1950s. Although anonymous, the designs bespeak a Modernist approach

to graphic design and indicate an artist familiar with many of the prevailing tenets of photomontage,

layout and typography. Among the recurring themes found in the images are “It’s well worth the

effort!” and “On top of your job - on top of the world.”
