A RARE PAMPHLET GOTTEN UP BY A LOCAL REPORTER FROM THE HUNTSVILLE TIMES
pur-
porting to tell the “inside” story of this early Scottsboro trial that put the small Southern town on the
map. The Scottsboro Boys and their various trials and tribulations occupied the news for quite some
time, the last acts of which stretched into the 1950’s. The Scottsboro case was, together with the trial of
Angelo Herndon, the beginning of the modern civil rights struggle. OCLC locates only five copies.
