I regret that I can not give you my composition Tango unless the terms which we discussed are

agreed to by you.The small advance . . . should not be an obstacle, even if it is not customary . . . .

If you are really interested . . . the slight departure from your regular rules would not seem to me to

be impossible.

. . . [I]n the event of your publishing myTango, it would be necessary to have any and all edi-

tions submitted to me before publication, for my approval. . . .”
