Albany autograph collector and newspaper reporter John Boos. The highlight is a print of
Roosevelt signed by the ex-president in 1913 (page 17). Also included are signed tributes to
Roosevelt by his 1912 running mate Hiram W. Johnson (pages 21-22) and 1916 running
mate John M. Parker (page 26), and signed tributes to Abraham Lincoln by First Lady Edith
Kermit Roosevelt (page 42) and children Theodore (page 46), Kermit (page 50), Ethel (page
52), and Archibald (page 57).

Archibald Willingham Butt (1865-1912) was a close friend and military aide to Presidents
Roosevelt and Taft from 1908 to 1912. He is perhaps better known as a passenger who died
aboard the RMS Titanic—on a vacation he took at Taft’s insistence.
