Accompanied by photograph of the Kingan & Company sales meeting at the Hotel Jefferson,

Richmond,Virginia October 7, 1949 (with photographer’s stamp and title written on verso), showing

this advertisement enlarged on a full sized billboard hanging above the stage before a packed room of

salesmen. Scott’s illustrations for the company’s “That’s My Meat” ad campaign brought Kingan’s

national attention, and were among the most famous and recognizable billboards and print ads of the

period.
