The images depict a few children, including a child with her feet crossed, a baby in a flowing white
gown, another child with a small hand-tinted rose, a pink-cheeked baby, and another seated clasping
flowers; women, including a young woman with crossed hands, older women in bonnets; and gentlemen,
one with a bowtie, and each also with faint hand-tinting to the cheeks.The daguerreotypes are composed
of one ninth-plate, 8 sixth-plates, and 3 quarter-plates; each in a leather case. The ambrotypes are
composed of 3 sixth-plates and 2 quarter-plates; one in a theromoplastic case, the rest in leather.And
the tintypes are composed of 3 sixth-plates (including one case with 2 portraits of the same young
girl with flowers) and one quarter-plate; one leather case, and one decorative velvet. 1850s
