AfterWilbur’s death in 1912, Orville continued to develop new ideas for airplanes. He built an aeroboat
in 1913, and flew it from The Great Miami River at Dayton. An image depicting Orville alongside
the aeroboat in waders, a vest, tie and hat, is reproduced in TheWright Brothers Legacy, 188-189.
