Condition B+: restoration in margins; creases
and abrasions in image.
One of two very similar posters Trapp designed
in 1932, one promoting “Switzerland Best Value
in Holiday Travel,” and this image celebrating
the 50th anniversary of the Gotthard Tunnel.
Each has a large silhouette of a train coming at
the viewer, but this image has a different vista in
the lower left corner as well as a slightly different
train, a garland on the fender and international
flags trailing off down the side of the train itself.
English version. Le Train p. 70 (var).
