though unconscionably trimmed, folded, and
laid-in at end. The TLS to Mr. Lemperly
(Nov. 19, 1901) thanks him for his contribu-
tion to Kipling’s Boys’ Club and acknowledges
returning the aforementioned bookplate as hav-
ing been signed in gratitude by Kipling. With
“gain” for “again” on page 210, line 2, and
page 320 with “Munsoorie” for “Mussoorie.”
