An exceptional photomontage promotion for a film festival held in Paris’ Ranelagh Theater, dedicated
to avant-garde directors shooting in the 8mm format. Organized by Jerome Diamant-Berger, who
came from an illustrious family of French movie pioneers, the festival featured directors of varying lev-
els of obscurity, but also some important names like Orson Welles, Chris Marker,William Klein and
Jean-Luc Goddard. The poster itself is a gem of modern avant-garde design.
