Swierzy is one of Poland’s most prolific, versatile and awarded artists. He is credited with designing
over 2500 posters, and has won over a dozen major international awards for his designs since 1956.
He has created numerous designs for the Polish circus (Cyrk) and the Polish Zoo as well as a memo-
rable series of Jazz Greats posters. His style changed with each generation, and in the 60s it reflected
the Pop Art of that era.
