Sabina Paellmann is the administrator for the African American Art and Contemporary Art departments at Swann.

She holds a BFA in Design History and Practice from Parsons School of Design, and an MA in Visual Arts Administration from New York University. For her Master’s thesis, she created an interactive website called Greetings from Little Africa, exploring the history and contributions of Black artists in Downtown New York City during the Black Arts Movement.

In the past, she has worked as a gallery assistant at a Black-owned art gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan.

Outside of Swann, Sabina is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and model. Her work is an investigation of history, primarily looking at her African American heritage, and its intersection with her daily life. In addition to art, she is passionate about fashion, film, interior design, literature, and traveling.
