Lisa Crescenzo
Lisa Crescenzo serves as the Managing Director of the Fine Arts Department, working to grow the house’s fine art sales through client relations and consignment management. Lisa also serves as an auctioneer for Swann. Crescenzo joined Swann in 2014. Over the past 10 years, she has served she served as the Department Manager for Prints & Drawings, the company’s busiest department with more than seven sales a year, overseeing the workflow of a five-person cohort producing 19th & 20th Century Art; Old Master Through Modern Prints; Contemporary Art; and American Art sales; as well as assisting with interdepartmental sales.
In spring 2016, she played an instrumental role in the discovery of an 1869 Sanford Robinson Gifford painting titled Study of the Parthenon, that fetched $269,000, over eight times its high estimate.
She has a strong appreciation for other forms of visual arts, including contemporary dance. Her interest in food and cooking has led her to start a small collection of antique kitchen tools. Lisa is graduate of Union College, and holds a BA in Art History and a minor in Studio Arts. Her favorite artistic period is early Twentieth Century American Modernism.
