Lauren Cooper
Departments:
Lauren Cooper has worked in the Vintage Posters Department at Swann since 2012. As Associate Director, she contributes to the poster cataloguing, research and editing for the Vintage Poster catalogues, as well as the assessment of new consignments for the department and exhibition preparation.
Lauren is instrumental in the organization of private collection sales, including the Julius Paul Collection of posters restituted from the Austrian government after the Holocaust, as well as the Monsters & Maidens catalogue of horror movie posters. Her forté is the annual Graphic Design poster auction.
In her free time, Lauren loves painting and photography, and adding to her collections of 1939 NY World's Fair memorabilia and antique medical bottles. She graduated from Vassar College in 2011 with a major in Art History and a minor in British Literary History.
