Grace Meschery-McCormack joined the Swann Galleries team as a cataloguer in January of 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role as the rare books & manuscripts department assistant at Christie’s. Her expertise encompasses a diverse range of works, with a focus on nineteenth- and twentieth-century first editions, children’s literature, and artist books.
Prior to joining Swann, she gained valuable institutional insight working as the library special collections and research assistant at her alma mater. Her background also includes roles at a contemporary art gallery and the Nevada Museum of Art.
Grace holds a B.A. in Comparative Studies in Literature & Culture and Art History from Occidental College, where she edited the campus satire magazine Fang and spent three years as an interdisciplinary writing adviser. Counted among her favorite things are the works of Marcel Proust, smooth river stones, and raspberries.
