Bella Savignano is an administrator for the Fine Art department at Swann, focusing on the Illustration, American, and 19th & 20th Century Art auctions.

Previously, she worked as an assistant to photographer Kate Simon and as an intern at Morrison Hotel Gallery. She also worked in creative development for film and photo campaigns, including the multi-award-winning documentary “Chasing Light” and Spotify’s RADAR series. She holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design, where she developed a thesis exhibition, lecture, and book about revisionist history and storytelling through archives, using her own collection as a case study.

Outside of Swann, she is a writer, archivist, and independent researcher, specializing in underground music and art scenes in New York City and London from the 1960s through 1970s. She collects ephemera and clothing related to early glam rock, the music press, anti-war activism, youth culture, and feminism.
