Alice Le Campion

Alice Le Campion joined Swann Galleries in 2022. Her primary tasks as Specialist include researching and cataloguing materials to be included in sales, estimating and evaluating proposed property, writing condition reports and historical essays.
Alice has worked as a gallery manager for several contemporary art galleries before diving into her preferred medium of photography. She has extensive experience in acquisition gained during her tenure as the director of a private photography art collection in Berlin, Germany. She has also curated numerous photography exhibitions of well-established photographers, such as Jeanloup Sieff and Erwin Blumenfeld, and group shows emphasizing female representations, with an orientation towards feminist theories and histories of gender.
Alice holds an M.A in Museum Studies (with Honors) from the University of Nice Antipolis, France, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manchester, GB. In her spare time, Alice enjoys visiting exhibitions and artists’ studios and exploring all New York City offers.
