This charming house boat painting dates from Claude Clark's time in Sacramento, CA. In 1955, Clark left his teaching position at Talladega College and began his own undergraduate studies at Sacramento State University where he received his BA in 1958. Clark then moved to Oakland in 1959, and attended the University of California at Berkeley where he obtained a MA degree in 1962.
