Including: Vyškov, [Brno]: Nákladem Vlastním, [1924], an unbound portfolio in paper publisher's wraps as issued illustrated with six woodcuts, each signed in pencil by the artist (wrappers chipped, front and back covers detached), 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.; Indiáni Jindy a Dnes, Brno: Hranice, 1934, first, edition, limited, signed by Bochoráková-Dittrichová in pencil on ffep, with prospectus inserted, unnumbered on limitation page, bound in publisher's full cloth, housed in original slipcase, 10 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.; Kristus, Prague, 1944, illustrated with thirty-two woodcuts from the New Testament, in publisher's binding, 9 1/2 x 6 3/4 in.; eight woodblock bookplates, some signed, some printed in two colors; two etchings; [together with] two books with H B-D's woodblock illustrations on their covers: Habrina's Venec z Klokoci Brno, 1941; [and] Zemek's Z Asie do Europy, Brno, 1926. Bochoráková-Dittrichová was an illustrator, painter, and is considered to be the first female graphic novelist. She studied printmaking at Prague and exhibited across Europe in the 1920s and '30s. Like Lynd Ward, she was influenced by the work of Frans Masereel.
