Including images of the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin, after the Vostok 1 flight, several missions to the Salyut 7 space station, snaps of astronauts before, during, and after leaving Earth, views of Earth from space, and more. Chromogenic (14) and silver (12) prints, the images measuring 15½x11½ inches (39.4x29.2 cm.), and the reverse, one with a typed caption label, in Russian, on recto, two with a Fotokhronika Moscow, USSR hand stamp, and most with a written caption, in English, in ink, on verso. 1960s-80s; printed 1980s
