Three volumes entitled Sinai & Arabia Petra, Jerusalem & Palestine, and Egypt & Athens, with approximately 140 photographs
With diverse and important imagery, including vistas, buildings, and monuments of the Near East and Holy Land, together a panorama of Frith's vast body of work. Albumen prints, the images measuring approximately 8x6 inches (20.3x15.2 cm.), and the reverse, mounted recto only, each with a tinted border, most with a printed caption and reference number, the remaining with captions and numbers, in pencil, in a contemporary hand, and some with the Published by Frith, Reigate blind stamp, on mount recto. Folios, each gilt-lettered maroon half roan over green cloth and with red-speckled edges and titles on the backstrip; marbled endpapers with Bucknell Library Bookplates. 1860s-70s
