"Long Bunker Shot." Oil on canvas, circa 1920s-30s. 510x615 mm; 20x24 inches. Initialed "HIC." in lower left image. Some restoration and inpainting. Nicely framed.

Provenance: Private collection, New York City; dealer, Paris, 1996; thence to Dick McDonough.

Condition:

Masking tape adhered to verso of canvas near lower left, which appears to be stabilizing a small repaired tear or puncture. Craquelure throughout, with small area of paint loss within sand trap at left. Small imperfection at lower center. Some inpainting visible under black light, especially in grassy area to right of golfer's hip, which is the location of the repaired tear. See images. Nicely framed.
