Cologne: Joannes Gymnicus, 1574.
Octavo, a-c8, d2, A-Z8, Aa-Qq8, Rr2 (final leaf blank but for printer's mark & present in this copy), text in single column, in roman letter and italics throughout, printer's woodcut device on title, a different version on final leaf, bound in full contemporary German alum-tawed pigskin dated 1574, blind rolled and tooled with central large placques on each board, the front with a quote from Psalm 144:19, "Voluntatem timentium se faciet," [He will do the will of them that fear Him]; and on the back board, dated 1571 in the tool, with this quote from Judges 5:31, "Sic pereant omnes inimici tui Domini," [So let all thine enemies perish, O Lord]; old library stamp, generally good, 6 1/2 x 4 in.
