Octavo, third edition overall, first London edition, with half-title, engraved portrait frontispiece, and "stinking" instead of "skinking" on page 267; A8, a-b8, B-Z8, Aa4; bound in contemporary tree calf, gilt-tooled spine, red label, very neatly rebacked, housed in custom chemise and slipcase, 8 1/4 x 5 in. [together with] Oliver Goldsmith's (1730?-1774) The Poetical and Dramatic Works, now First Collected, London: by H. Goldney for Rivington et al., 1780; two small octavo volumes, frontispiece portrait, bound in marbled calf, spines neatly tooled with urns and other decorations, labels in red with green and red onlays, housed in custom box, 7 x 4 1/4 in.
