[bound with] The Critical History of the Versions of the New Testament Part II; London: for Thomas Newborough & Thomas Bennet, 1692; quarto, two parts bound as one, ex libris Thomas Musgrave (1788-1860), Archbishop of York with dated signature and bookplate on ffep; rebound in full modern calf, period style, marginal notes in pencil throughout, 8 1/4 x 6 1/4 in. London: Printed for R. Taylor, 1689.

English translation of the original French, which was suppressed and destroyed by Royal Council decree in its first edition. Isaac Newton read Simon's work, as did John Locke. ESTC R15045; Wing S-3798; ESTC R39550; Wing S-3799.
