James I, King of England (1566-1625) The Workes of the Most High and Mightie Prince Iames. Folio, added engraved title by Renold Elstrack and full-page portrait of James by Simon Passeus (with half-title printed on verso) bound opposite each other, preceding the typographical title page, full-page woodcut royal coat of arms following typo title, text engraving portrait of Prince Charles heading the dedication; ex libris Marmaduke Cooke (d. 1685), with many dated signatures to preliminary leaves, likely contemporary boards with a modern rebacking, contents generally good, 13 x 8 1/2 in. London: Printed by Robert Baker & John Bill, [1620].
A re-issue of the first 1616 edition, with that date still present on engraved title, with added signatures Ccc-Ggg and colophon dated 1620; STC 14345; ESTC S112082.
Condition: Some staining to final leaf, boards becoming detached, somewhat rubbed, contents generally good.
