RARE

photomontage promoting Aviazot, which appears to be an engineering program aimed at

teaching mechanics more about the workings of aircraft. The sophisticated image combines the

schematic drawing of a rotary engine, a classroom and a Tupolev ANT-9 trimotor aircraft. The

dynamic typography announces “acceptance in miscellaneous aircraft - for the technical and economic

independence of the USSR.”
