This program was for the Tuskegee Pilot
School graduates of 1945. A list of their names
appears on the verso of the first page, the pro-
gram of the exercise to the right. The invocation
was delivered by Chaplain (Captain) Gerald
L. Hayden, the address by Attorney Arthur
Shores, Special Counsel to the NAACP; the
presentation of the letters of appointment were
presented by Colonel Noel F. Parrish. In over
twenty years, this is the first time we have seen
anything like this.
