Johnson.Typed Letter, with secretarial signature.The Kennedy letter, sending his autograph

and expressing appreciation for his sentiments of approval. The Johnson letter, expressing

regret that he would not accept the autograph sent previously by his secretary and explain-

ing that matters of state prevent him from attending personally to all his mail. Each 1 page,

House I would have little time to attend to the affairs of state.”
