persecutions to which they were subjected, and their expulsion”—JCB III:1632. Each volume
has a different listed author and subtitle, and consists of several discrete historical documents.
Bernardino de Cardenas is listed as the author of the first two volumes, and is often credited as
author of the whole series. José de Antequera y Castro and Bernardo Ibañez de Echavarri are
listed as the authors of Volumes III and IV respectively. Palau 56511; Sabin 10803. None
known at auction since 1968.
