Hall stationery. 152x102 mm; 6x4 inches.

Unsigned. Horizontal crease to lower

marginal area. Nd. Tipped to window

matte in two places along verso top edge.

A lovely little set of sketches by Potter. Two

seated rabbits drawn in brown ink and pencil

grace one side (with two indecipherable sketches

along bottom) while a series of 4 studies of

hands and a still life appear on the other. Gorse

Hall was the home of Potter’s grandparents and

where her mother, Helen Leech, was born.The

home was torn down in 1910.
