A lovely little set of sketches by Potter. Two
seated rabbits drawn in brown ink and pencil
grace one side (with two indecipherable sketches
along bottom) while a series of 4 studies of
hands and a still life appear on the other. Gorse
Hall was the home of Potter’s grandparents and
where her mother, Helen Leech, was born. The
home was torn down in 1910.
