Large, boldly colored example of one of Driben’s famous Pin-Up Girls. He didn’t confine himself to
any one genre though; one of his commissions for Hollywood was for the original poster art and
publicity artwork for the film version of The Maltese Falcon in 1941. Reproduced in The Great
American Pin-Up by Charles Martignette and Louis K. Meisel, p. 145, as well as the recent
definitive The Art of Pin-Up by Dian Hanson, p. 190.
