Relief etching printed in black on cream wove paper, 1947. 177x140 mm; 7x5 1/2 inches,
full margins. One of only several proofs (there was no published edition). Signed, dated,
inscribed “epreuve d’essai” and dedicated “pour Todd” in pencil, lower margin. Printed
at Atelier 17, NewYork. A very good impression of this extremely scarce, early print.
One of six etchings that were the result of a collaboration among Miró, Ruthven Todd
and StanleyW. Hayter at Atelier 17, NewYork, during the summer of 1947. Dupin volume I,
