(Ash/Fletcher 34; according to Ash/Fletcher, this watermark appears most frequently on
several Rembrandt plates owned by Clement de Jonghe, the Amsterdam art dealer, who
likely had impressions printed from them during the 1650s). With narrow to thread
margins 3 sides, trimmed inside the blank lower margin with thread margin outside the
lower broder line and all the subject preserved. A superb, early impression with strong
