A brilliant, richly-inked, luminous, proof-like impression of this extremely scarce mezzotint. We have found only 3 other impressions at auction in the past 30 years. Wuerth 509. Edition of approximately only 20. Signed and inscribed “imp.” in pencil, lower center. A brilliant, luminous, richly-inked, proof-like impression of this exceedingly scarce, early print with inky plate edges and printer’s ink marks in the margins.
