Wald (1915-2011) adopted the screenprint technique in the early 1940s and soon became associated with The Silk Screen Group in New York. The group’s three shows called Color Prints under Ten Dollars were sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and held from 1940 to 1941.
