London:The Bodley Head, (1974) [800/1,200] first edition with pictures by ardizzone . presentation copy with original drawing by greene , inscribed to the author’s primary love interest for the last three decades of his life: “For Yvonne [Cloetta] / to teach little Alexandra English / with love from / Graham.” Below this is a cartoon style drawing of the two.One of Greene’s children’s books,first published in the 1950s with illustrations by Dorothy Craigie [Glover].
