The front pastedown bears Greene’s signature in blue ink, and the facing flyleaf has ten lines of his manuscript annotations in pencil (three crossed out by him), further brief annotations follow on pp. 9, 17, 23, 147, 157- 159 (the last few but editorial strikes), and the rear flyleaf with titles of five stories “To add” including The End of the Bridge,A Drive in the Country, and Men atWork, accomplished in pencil and ink.Wobbe A10.
