Chicago painter, printmaker and graphic artist Steve Walker studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and his art illustrated various publications for the Johnson Publishing Company. Inf luenced by Norman Rockwell, according to Aaron Galleries, Walker was one of the more popular artists exhibiting at the South Side Community Art Center, and is known for his depictions of children.
